Adding and Removing Favourite Apps
How to choose which apps appear on the Inglenook screen, and how to reorder or remove them.
Favourite apps are the large tiles shown on the Inglenook screen. You can have up to six. All changes are made through Settings — there is no long-press or drag-and-drop on the home screen itself.
Adding an app
- Tap the gear icon in the top-right corner to open Settings.
- Tap Apps.
- Tap Add app.
- Browse or scroll through the list of installed apps and tap the one you want to add.
The app will appear as a large tile on the home screen.
Removing an app
- Open Settings → Apps.
- Find the app in the list and tap the menu next to it.
- Tap Remove and confirm.
Removing an app from Inglenook doesn’t uninstall it from the phone — it just removes it from the home screen.
Reordering apps
- Open Settings → Apps.
- Find the app you want to move and tap the menu next to it.
- Tap Move up or Move down.
Renaming an app
If the default app name is confusing, you can give it a friendlier label:
- Open Settings → Apps.
- Tap the menu next to the app and select Edit name.
- Type a new name and confirm.
Leave the field blank to revert to the app’s original name.
