App Not Appearing in Favourites

What to do if an app you added to Inglenook is no longer showing on the home screen.

If an app tile has disappeared from the Inglenook screen, the most common cause is that the app has been uninstalled from the phone.

Check if the app is still installed

  1. Open Inglenook Settings (tap the gear icon) → Apps.
  2. Look at the list of favourite apps. If the missing app is no longer in the list, it was automatically removed when it was uninstalled.

To confirm, search for the app in the Google Play Store — if it shows an Install button instead of Open, it’s no longer on the phone.

Re-adding an app

If the app is still installed but disappeared from the home screen:

  1. Open Settings → AppsAdd app.
  2. Find the app in the list and tap it to re-add it.

The app won’t appear in the “Add app” list

If you can’t find the app in the list when trying to add it, the app may:

  • Have been uninstalled — reinstall it from the Play Store first.
  • Be a system app that isn’t available to add — some built-in apps cannot be added to Inglenook.

If you’ve reinstalled the app and it still doesn’t appear, try restarting the phone and checking again.
