Setting a Background Colour or Wallpaper

How to choose between a solid background colour and the phone's wallpaper on the Inglenook screen.

Inglenook offers two background styles: a calm solid colour, or the phone’s existing wallpaper.

Choosing a background style

  1. Tap the gear icon to open Settings.
  2. Tap Display.
  3. Under Background, select either Solid colour or Wallpaper.

Solid colour

The default background is a warm, neutral colour that’s easy on the eyes. This is the recommended choice for most users — it keeps the screen calm and free of distraction.

Wallpaper

Selecting Wallpaper makes the home screen show through to the phone’s existing wallpaper. If you want to change the wallpaper image itself, tap the Change wallpaper button to open Android’s system wallpaper picker.
